I am an Associate Professor of Finance and the Faculty Director of the Burridge Center for Finance at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado at Boulder.
I received my B.S. in Applied Mathematics and my B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2005. In 2010, I obtained my M.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. I earned my Ph.D. in Finance from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2013. I am a CFA charterholder.
My areas of research are Asset Management, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), Target-Date Funds (TDFs), Socially Responsible Investing (SRI), and Crowdfunding. My research has been recently featured in the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times and on Bloomberg.
Prior to my career in academia, I worked as a fixed income research analyst. I specialized in the areas of structured credit products, corporate debt, and mortgage-backed securities.
